Gingerbread Kleenex Cover Doll

This sweet gingerbread doll will add cheer to any decor. The doll is made from paint stained muslin fabric. Her face is hand painted and sealed. The Kleenex come up through her mixing bowl. The gingerbread doll's dress has little gingerbread all over it and very tiny candy canes.
Rich brown fabric trims her dress and the white rick rack adds a fun appeal. The button on her dress looks like a pearl button. Her head bow is made from green and red homespun fabric. The spoon is painted green with white painted ribbon accents to bring out the green in the head bow. This spoon is also
coffee stained. This is the last Gingerbread Tissue Cover I plan on making this year.

She is about 14" tall.
Does not include the tissue box.

Remember I am happy to do special orders and I do try to find something for your color schemes.

After these dolls and patterns are finished. I hope to begin another spring rug hooking pattern. What should I make dimensional this spring? Plus create a tutorial on dimensional rug hooking. Please stay posted for when this tutorial will become available.

I did one last year on my Easter Eggs.

Also I hope to put all my doll making tips into one place and post this information. You learn a lot through the years as you make dolls. I want to pass on this information that I have gleaned a long the line.

Creating Dolls

Started a couple of different doll sets.

One Gingerbread doll set. Will be a mamma and baby gingerbread set. Many of you know I love the Gingerbread theme.

The other if it turns out will be a Reindeer Mamma and Baby doll set. I have never made a Reindeer set before. I have made a reindeer for a doll set but not a Mamma and Baby reindeer set.

Please stay posted I hope to have these ready before we go on our cruise.

We are going cruising just after Thanks Giving. Doing a Mexican Riviera Cruise. We are meeting up with our children for this cruise. I can't wait to see them. I miss them a lot.

Been thinking seriously about doing a Rug hooked Pillow Santa. Have a wonderful photo of a woodland Santa whose cloak is blowing in the wind. Called Wind blown Santa. I dyed wool yesterday for his Cloak. Will have to do a smaller cut to work this Santa. But I think I will do this.

Wish me luck on all of these creations.
