Yesterdays Fun & Look for Photos coming soon
David and I spend the afternoon among the temperate rain forests of the Mckenzie River. A stop at the ranger station for some needed trail maps and such. We learned that there are otter, mink and beavers around. Will have to keep our eyes open for these fun creatures. Searching out a little known hot spring and hiking to a couple of stunning waterfalls were part of the fun. The spring run offs have the Mckenzie river flowing high. Thus the water coming over the water falls was just gushing. We took lots of photos so look for some photos of flowers and waterfalls. There are many variety of ferns and tall trees. Have no idea what half of the flowers and flowering bushes are. We actually are living in what is known as a temperate rain forest. Moss growing on the trees , lots of ferns and rain hmmm. Rain did I say rain. Supposed to be heavy rain this afternoon. We had about 10 days with no rain around the memorial weekend.
Look for photos coming soon.

Witch Doll & Camp
Hubby has given me a few days to work on a doll for Pfattmarketplace's Halloween in June theme.
I love creating for the Halloween Season.
This fun Witch doll will have a cauldron candy dish in her lap. When I can I like to created functional artwork. Hopefully I will be able to post a picture soon.
♥♥♥♥
The Willamete National Forest in Oregon is gorgeous. A very thick forest with a lot to do.
As we begin site seeing I will share our photos with you. So stop on by to see the wonderful things that this part of Oregon reveals.

Oregon
Thought I would share some of the photos from Oregon. Plus had to share Marcus' kitty photo.

The trees are huge!!!!! This one is small in comparison to some. They are over 200' tall. Just huge.

This was orientation day up and Hoodoo Ski Area. It was snowing that day. David was crazy in shorts and sandals. I am cold thinking about it.
Not sure what mountain this is. But we took the photo on the way to Hoodoo. Many of the trees standing are dead from a past forest fire. Not sure when the forest fire was.
This stream is just down from one of the camp sites in our camp ground. David was enjoying the view.

Watching the Snow Fall
We are snowed in.
But this is okay. The snow is gorgeous.
The sun is out today though and this snow will be melting very soon.
I went out and built a snowman. That was so much fun!
My wool stripper is waiting for me at the post office. We should be able to get out of here in a few days. Maybe even tomorrow. It will be muddy though.
We do have an ATV and went over the mountain to see my mom & dad yesterday. And my sister and her husband. If we had chains for the truck we could get out of here. We are supposed to go over the my sisters for a smoked turkey this evening. We will see the mud may keep us in here.
It is kind of fun being snowed in!!!! The deer should be moving around today.
I have been procrastinating as far as creating goes. Look for a mermaid though. I have been playing with a mermaid design. Might even make it into a pattern. So do keep posted.

Back in Colorado

It is so good to be back in Colorado even if snow may be in the works. Last night a herd of about 30 deer came through. We have missed that. Saw many Antelope on the way back up here. We did have a window break on the RV on our way up here. So that will need to be repaired. My wool stripper broke so I will be sending that in for repairs today. So I am thinking that my Big Huge Rug will not be finished before we head toward Oregon. I am looking forward to the Bee Skep Tutorial which starts next week. I think we will have a lot of fun. Have a blessed day and an awesome Easter.
Thought I would share a couple of photos from last summer.
